The Aviation News. 67 new aircraft of the type Airbus A380 and Boeing B777 will strengthen the Singapore Airlines air fleet. 67 wide body aircraft will be received by Singapore Airlines from 2014 to 2015. The addition of this new aircraft is a regular program of Singapore Airlines to rejuvenate its fleet.

Singapore Airlines has ordered 67 new aircraft. This was said by Glory Henriette, Manager of Public Relations of Singapore Airlines, Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in Jakarta. "We've ordered these planes since last year, there are 67 aircraft," said Glory.

67 aircraft consisting of Airbus A380 and Boeing B777. The aircraft will come in 2014 and 2015 with the status as owned the airline, instead of renting.

Currently, Singapore Airlines has 102 aircraft (in flight). "SQ plane never used more than six years. Aircraft that are not used will be sent to the leasing," said Glory is reluctant to disclose the value of the investment for the new aircraft.
