Merpati Nusantara Airlines increase the frequency of flights in eastern Indonesia

Eastern Indonesia will remain a potential flight business that will be produced by PT Merpati Nusantara Airlines, as evidenced by an increased load factor above 80% from June 2012 to March 2013.

This encourages Merpati Nusantara Airlines to continue to increase the frequency on some old routes, like Makassar-Kendari, Makassar-Banjarmasin, and Makassar- Balikpapan. In addition, Merpati Nusantara Airlines will continue to improve the connectivity by using small aircraft which has a capacity of 20 seats - 50 seats.

"We really focus on the flights in the eastern part of Indonesia, especially in pioneering aviation services. This year's revenue is targeted to increase to Rp 72 billion. On the year 2012 successfully realized Rp 68 billion," said Director of Commerce PT Merpati Nusantara Airlines, Sutan Banuara, in Makassar, Wednesday, March 20, 2013.
